2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

The new version of the E-Class is one of the most minimalist designs in decades, taking more inspiration from classic elements of Mercedes-Benz than many of its immediate past iterations. You may actually mistake the 2018 E-Class coupe for an S-Class if you don’t look closely, and this may be exactly what Mercedes is going for.

Keep in mind that minimalist or classic does not mean stripped down. The 2018 E-Class is still an incredibly aggressive and beautiful vehicle. Starting from the very front, the sparkling diamond grille leads directly to mounted side mirrors featuring frameless glass. This leads to the slim taillights and spoiler trunk lid in perhaps the sleekest modern Mercedes on the market today. This is definitely a car that breathes self-confidence.

The interior of the upcoming E-Class coupe has chosen to import many of the design features of the E-Class sedan. Most noticeably, the instrument panel seems to be a total lift, complete with the optional 12.3 inch displays. Actually, you get a slight improvement in the E-Class coupe, with the jet turbine air vents. You also get the ability to move between knob turning and a touchscreen depending on your preference for controlling the infotainment in your vehicle.

The streamlined exterior gives you a roomier interior as well. When was the last time that you had as much room in a coupe as in a comparable sedan? Well, you get it in the new E-Class coupe, with roomy rear seats even when the front seats are fully pushed back. You also get 4 side windows with a full range of motion, giving the feel of an even bigger cabin area.

The E-Class will not have a V8, and it does not need one. On top of this, if you invest in the Mercedes AMG® coupe, you will get the following upgrades:

You get incredible performance with the 2018 E-Class couple. The 4MATIC® transmission gives you a smoother ride than ever, and you do not lose any of the exhilaration of sports performance. You also get a Sport+ mode in the new model, giving the driver additional protection along with improved real time, fully autonomous driving functionality.

Mercedes has been ramping up the safety features as well. It is impossible to fall asleep at the wheel in the new 2018 – the autonomous driving functions are almost completely self-driven.

Overall, the 2018 E-Class coupe takes away all of the extra stuff that did not add to the Mercedes brand, leaving everything that made sense. This two door with the spacing of a four door and the performance of an S-Class gives you more bang for the buck than perhaps any E-Class before it.
